IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS FOR WATER SERVICE
All service requests will be reviewed by a NCWD Customer Service Representative, and if necessary you will be contacted regarding your service request. Additional information or paperwork may be required to complete the application process.
A valid Social Security number is required to complete the application process, Your social security number will be verified through Experian. Based on information received from Experian, a deposit may be assessed. If you do not have a valid social security number or decline to provide your social security number for verification purposes, then a deposit will be automatically assessed to your account.
An application fee of $20.00 will be assessed to your account every time an account is started in your name.
A deposit is calculated and based on three (3) months worth of bills at the property within the last twelve (12) months. If there is no history available, we will calculate the deposit based on similar properties.
Deposits are refunded to the customer’s account after one (1) year of service with no late fees or penalties. If the account is closed , all previous charges will be deducted from the deposit, and the remaining balance will be mailed in the form of a check to the customer’s last known address approximately forty five (45) days after the account is closed.
We require the requested service date to be a minimum of 24 hours from today (Saturday, Sunday and Holidays excluded) to start water service. All new water services will be connected during regular business hours Monday – Thursday between 8AM and 5PM and Friday between 8AM and 4PM. All completed paperwork must be received in our office completed prior to the connection of any water service.
